Meet Hannah

Hi, I'm Hannah: a qualified personal trainer, a mum of two, and the person you'll be training with at Graceful in Strength. I coach women from a private home studio in Collingwood Park, and I built this whole thing around one belief: you shouldn't have to earn your place in a gym before you're allowed to feel strong.

If you've ever hovered outside a weights room, or told yourself you'll start “once things settle down”, you're exactly who I had in mind.

Why I started Graceful in Strength

As a mum of two, I know firsthand how hard it is to find time for yourself, let alone put your health first. Between school runs, work and everyone else's needs, exercise is usually the first thing to fall off the list. I created Graceful in Strength for women who want to feel capable, confident and strong, without adding more pressure to an already full life. The name is the promise: strength, with grace, at your pace.

A mum of two who gets it

I'm not a trainer who has never missed a workout. I've trained through pregnancy, come back after both babies, and rebuilt my own strength in the cracks of busy weeks. That experience shapes how I coach: realistic expectations, sustainable habits, and plans that survive contact with real life. When you tell me you're running on four hours of sleep, I don't push harder. I adjust the session, and we still make progress.

How I coach: evidence-based, technique-first

My programming is grounded in evidence-based training principles and built around female physiology, not recycled bodybuilding templates. Every session starts with a quick check-in so I can tailor the work to your energy and recovery that day. We prioritise technique before load, progress before perfection, and consistency before intensity. You'll always know why we're doing an exercise, and you'll never be thrown into something your body isn't ready for.

The studio: private, equipped, judgement-free

Sessions run from my fully equipped in-home studio in Collingwood Park. There are no mirrors full of strangers, no queues for equipment, and no one watching you learn. It's just you and me, working through a plan built for your body and your goals. For many of the women I train, especially beginners and postpartum mums, that privacy is the thing that finally makes training feel possible. Qualified, insured and accountable

I'm a qualified personal trainer, fully insured, and registered as a business (ABN 53 816 561 986). More importantly, I take the responsibility of coaching seriously: safe progressions, honest conversations, and check-ins that keep you accountable without guilt. If something is outside my scope, like a medical or physio concern, I'll say so and point you to the right professional.

What training with me feels like

Calm, structured and genuinely encouraging. We celebrate the first full push-up, the heavier deadlift, the week you showed up tired anyway. Progress here is measured in what your body can do, not what it looks like.
